If your drum kit’s a little bigger than standard, the first thing you’ll want to do is make sure everything fits on your drum rug. Unstable cymbal stands are your worst enemy and you certainly don’t want bits of kit falling off the drum riser. While you could just get a drum rack, they’re pretty expensive and this large Meinl drum rug is not!

This extra-large Oriental drum mat has been stitched together by Meinl and measures two by two metres, offering ample space for an expanded drum kit.
