No, your eyes are not deceiving you. This is indeed the third iteration of the Microtubes B7K Ultra from Darkglass Electronics. Next to everything the V2 came with, this refreshed bass preamp and distortion also has an AUX input for silent practise and the ability to play along your favourite tunes via your smartphone. Loaded with Impulse Response tech, the B7K Ultra V2 lets you load in countless virtual speaker cabinets by connecting the pedal to your computer via the fitted micro-USB port. This then grants access to the Darkglass Suite: a software environment for IR and parameter control, where none other than Adam ’Nolly’ Getgood (Getgood Drums, ex-Periphery) has even made his personal IRs available for users of B7K Ultra V2. To finish, this limited SQUID edition comes enriched by special artwork from Ignacio Bazán Lazcano.
