Built to shock and awe, the Washburn M10FRQ with mahogany top has both the quality of tone and the shreddability to turn it into a sincerely recommendable electric guitar. The mahogany body combines with a maple neck with ebony fretboard for a full sound with bright treble and tight bass, creating a solid foundation for a wide range of clean and overdriven sounds that can then be powerfully amplified by two premium humbuckers designed by the famed pick-up gurus over at Seymour Duncan. What’s more, these passive pickups can even be switched in series or parallel for more, while the Floyd Rose bridge with locking string nut lets you go all out with the tremolo bar without having to worry about the tuning. Blessed with 24 frets, the M10FRQ gives any virtuoso or novice shredder the playability they need and makes for a superiorly complete instrument that won’t be easy to put down once you’ve picked it up.
