The most inspiring guitar effects are often the result of a fruitful collaboration between leading stompbox-makers and extremely passionate players. In the case of the Supreme Dual Overdrive from pedal-giant Mad Professor and the ever-progressive Matt Schofield, that’s no different. Since the master guitarist is rather fond of the Royal Blue Overdrive from the Finnish brand, the Supreme dual-overdrive has been slightly modelled after it. Both overdrives are specially designed to be compatible with any and all pickup switch settings, and each drive comes with its own pots and can be used either individually or in combination with the other. As such, the Mad Professor Supreme isn’t just perfect for electric blues, but a wide range of potentially louder styles of rock.
