Fender’s ’70s Telecaster Deluxe from the Vintera series offers modern reliability and a vintage vibe. The alder body is home to two Fender Wide Range hyumbuckers that have been specially voiced to deliver authentic ’70s tone, while a pair of volume controls and tone controls per pickup and a 3-way switch back it all up with wide ranging Deluxe Tele tone. The Vintera ’70s Telecaster Deluxe: Deluxe Playing Comfort
Since its debut back in the ’50s, the Telecaster has undergone countless little and large evolutionary shifts, all in the name of enhancing playing comfort. In the ’70s models, and more specifically, the Tele Deluxe, this is evidence by a more modern neck profile and 9.5″ fretboard radius, and the solid stability provided by a fixed bridge, fitted and finished with six stainless-steel saddles, all of which can be individually adjusted for perfect intonation. The iconically shaped 3-ply pickguard might as well be the chocolate sprinkles on an authentically vintage Tele built for the modern guitarist.
