To build the Black Panther Shadow, Mapex have stacked a mix of seven layers of birch and walnut on top of each other, giving this 6.85mm thick and 14 x 6.5-inch large snare drum a darker, deeper character. In terms of shell hardware, this Black Panther wears several familiar pieces, including SONIClear 45° bearing edges, a cylinder-drive snare strainer and in-line locking b-lugs. All of the hardware has been chrome-plated and the snare comes complete with a Remo Coated Ambassador batter head and a Remo Clear Ambassador resonant drumhead.
