The Meinl Classics Custom Dark Heavy Big Bell Ride is made for drummers that demand a ride with explosive character and an outspoken bell-response. At 18 inches, this ride is reasonably small, but that’s because most of the dynamics are pulled out the bell, giving you a unique ride sound.
The Meinl Classics Custom Dark Heavy Big Bell Ride
Made from B10 bronze alloy, this potent cymbal has been finished with a dark coating that’s then been shaved back at specific intervals across the bow to provide precision dampening in all the right places, while retaining just enough clarity and lush and harmonic musicality. The pattern that this treatment leaves behind also gives it a great look. In short, this is a solid metal ride, or a second ride for full-on dual-ride rhythms.
