Busy bringing vintage legends back from the dead, Behringer present the 2500 1005 module, which is directly based on the eye-wateringly expensive and monstrously huge ARP 2500 modular synthesizer. Back in the day, this synth would take up a whole wall, but in the tight form of the Behringer 2500 1005 ModAmp, you get a neat slice of the original. This unit is essentially one of the many modules that made up the ARP 2500, and while it’s the one that manages the amplification, it also comes loaded with a few fun bits, including ring modulators.
