Fortunately, Behringer offer a superb alternative solution in the form of the FLOW 8: a compact all-rounder of a digital mixer that offers modern functions, a smooth workflow, and both podcast and stage-ready features.
The FLOW 8: Bluetooth and App Control!
One of the biggest eye-catchers is the integrated Bluetooth interface, which allows you to use the FLOW 8 from your smartphone or tablet via the Android/iOS control app. The app provides access to a 9-band EQ, a compressor for bass-heavy instruments, real-time setting tweaks and, arguably best of all, a handy ’assisted setup’ function that’ll show you the ropes of using the FLOW 8 in combination with instruments.
Reverb, Reverb and More Reverb
Behringer naturally haven’t forgotten to cram a bunch of effects into the FLOW 8, including a particularly superb reverb that runs on two independent effect engines with 16 presets each. From short-yet-impactful to seemingly endless stadium reverb, it’s all there and you even get to freely adjust the decay time. Next to all kinds of reverb, the FLOW 8 houses delay and various modulation effects but, since it’s equipped with not one but two FX sends, you could just as easily mix in some of your own effects.
