Allmänt
While Behringer has established itself as the solid go-to for more attainable cloned alternatives to vintage synth legends, they also offer up some original studio-focussed production tools. The Behringer Swing is just one example: a conveniently compact USB/MIDI keyboard with a set of thirty-two mini-keys with after-touch, a pitch-bend and modulation touch-strip, and as a sweet added bonus, it even comes armed with an integrated sequencer.
The Behringer Swing
Since USB/MIDI keyboards are largely set up to serve as a DAW controller, and in turn, your DAW serves as your sequencer, you might be wondering why the Swing features a sequencer at all. The answer is CV. This keyboard can be hooked up to trigger gear like Eurorack modules using the built-in, sixty-four-step, polyphonic sequencer – it also includes an arpeggiator. That, coupled with the ports lined up along the rear panel, amounts to a neat little chunk of hardware that packs enough potential to play a central role in any entry-level studio.
