Ideal at home or on the road: the ultralight 14-inch Meinl Travel Series djembe has been finished with a goathide batter head and is rope tuned for traditional-sounding slaps and warm bass strikes. The shell has been made from hard-wearing plastic, which is already 20% lighter than fibreglass models and less sensitive to warping due to extreme temperatures or humidity levels. It’s also more comfortable to lug between gigs, and comes finished with a Pharaoh’s Script print.
