The Catalinbread Giygas takes up little space yet houses mighty, meaty fuzz and enough options to rip open and rebuild the sound of your guitar or bass. Beneath the monstrous face lies a fuzz circuit built out of three silicon transistors that weave rich harmonic overtones and cream-filled sustain. On top of that, the JFET clean blend offers 100% assurance of a squeaky clean wet or dry signal, and after being fed through the blend, the signal is then (gracefully) shoved through two cascading EQ stages. Here, bassists can use an internal switch that sets the mid-point of the mid-range EQ at 250Hz. This fierce little fuzz pedal is able to tear your tone into sweet little sonic shreds.
