Slap the legendary sound of a green overdrive on your pedalboard with the EarthQuaker Devices Plumes Small Signal Shredder and get the full support of modern tech and more detailed control. Some of the internal components have been replaced, including a fresh JFET, to give your signal the full high-quality treatment and a sparkling edge, while the internal voltage conversion provides a touch more headroom than comparable drive stompboxes. The Mode switch fitted to the face of the Plumes offers three different drive types, so besides asymmetrical clipping, you also get a symmetrical version, and an OpAmp version free of any soft-clipping, so you can pick out and tweak your preferred shredding flavour. All of this comes backed up by the EarthQuaker Devices rep, and neatly wrapped up in an undeniably cool little box.
