The Enttec RDS8 8 is a tight 8-port DMX/RDM splitter complete with a single 5-pin DMX input and eight 5-pin DMX outputs. Select one of the three provided modes to get the best possible functionality out of your DMX and RDM gear. In Normal mode, for example, your DMX data is allowed to pass through at the same time as the flow of two-way RDM data traffic and, if you’re using some older DMX gear that tends to react strangely to RDM commands, flip to Filter mode to literally filter out any RDM data from the signal. The RDS-8 also provides insulation between inputs and outputs of up to 1,000V, optimally protecting your lighting desk and preventing any voltage peaks from overloading other DMX chains.
