The sheer tonal force of this ultra-modern single-cut has enjoyed its status as the best-loved model ever made by the Japanese, ESP. This singular beast is the LTD Deluxe EC-1000. In this Deluxe rendition, the mahogany body has been mounted with two active Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers. The ceramic version at the bridge is able to spit tight rhythms and thick squeals, while the alnico version at the neck packs all of your playing nuance with presence. Pop the push/pull tone pot to flip between two possible voicings and blow the tonal range even wider.
The EC-1000: Solid Upgrades
Compared to previous models, the ESP LTD EC-1000 has some tweaked details, including the 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets. This welcome power-up only backs-up the tight and controlled playing feel of this model while keeping the intonation as stable as it gets, and the set-thru construction of the ebony neck coupled with the comfortably deep, classic cutaway allow for eased reach at the higher end of the fretboard. The hardware drips with just as much quality, included the set of LTD locking tuners that ensure tuning stability. Finished in a genuinely unique Gold Andromeda paint-job, the colour of this guitar literally shifts depending on the light.
