A modern and innovative design and a carefully selected combination of high-quality parts make the Ibanez Bass Workshop Series EHB-1500-DEF truly brilliant at everything it does. The body of this electric bass has been skilfully crafted out of selected lightweight African mahogany before being hollowed out to add a few weight-saving chambers. Combined with an ergonomic shape, the EHB1500 is super comfortable to play for hours on end, even on the stage. In addition, this model features a stunning poplar burl top and a panga-panga/walnut neck for a rich and balanced sound articulated by two Nordstrand Big-Split pickups and a set of comprehensive active tone controls. Since this is a headstock-less bass, the tuning and intonation of it are done at the MR5HS bridge, which is yet another weight-reducing feature.
