I See Fire is Ed Sheeran?s contribution to the soundtrack to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug; the second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Ed Sheeran worked closely with, director of the Hobbit films, Peter Jackson to create this peaceful, but powerful, piece specifically for the film.
