The djembe is handmade from one solid block of mahogany and features a meticulously hand-selected goatskin drumhead, resulting in optimal action between bowl and skin. A centuries-old Malian weaving technique has been used to tightly stretch the skin around the bowl. Durable PP nylon ropes 4 millimetres thick ensure consistent tension on the skin and a traditional appearance.

The djembe has a deep, warm and above all detailed sound.
