The back of the neck offers the butter-smooth playability of a coat of oil, and the ebony compound radius of the fretboard and set of 24 jumbo frets supports a tight grip and light touch.

A Seymour Duncan Distortion TB-6 humbucker has been direct-mounted at the bridge to fill out the amplified sound of the Soloist SL3R with a tight and defined bottom-end, while a pair of Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coils at the middle and neck position deliver that lush transparent bite. Mix them up for everything from clean, sparkling tone, to incredibly taut and destructive distorted sound via the five-way selector switch, and perform complex tremolo-tricks and dive bombs with the solid support of the fitted Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge and R2 locking nut.
