For those who are looking to greatly expand their tonal palette with an instrument that meets the highest demands, Jackson have built the Pro Series Soloist SL7A MAH. Modernly-styled, this high-performance shredding machine features a 25.5″ scale length and a resonant mahogany body topped with an ash soundboard. The ultra-stable, graphite-reinforced maple neck runs through the body and doesn’t warp easily while, for that butter-smooth feel, the back-side has finished with oil. Meanwhile, speed is ensured by the compound ebony fretboard on the front, which comes lined with 24 jumbo frets.
Direct-Mount Seymour Duncan Pickups for Tight Tone and Maximum Definition
The two Seymour Duncan Distortion 7 pickups have been directly mounted in the body for super-tight tone with maximum definition and sustain. The rich mid-range combined with the high output is exactly what you want as a modern metal-guitarist, and so you can discover every last sound the Soloist SL7A MAH has to offer, the single tone pot and volume control come alongside a 5-way pickup switch. Since no shred-ready axe is ever complete without a tremolo bridge, Jackson have also installed a genuine Floyd Rose 1000 Series model that, together with the locking nut, keeps the tuning stable during even the most extreme dive-bombs, while the magical Unicorn White finish on the body and headstock seal up the aesthetics.
