Few fuzz pedals are more versatile than the KMA Machines Minos. While this Germanium-based stompbox is based on the Tonebender MKII and Superfuzz pedals, the Minos fortunately has a face and character of its own and offers you the sort of dynamics that even its legendary inspirations envy just a little. Using the Input control, you first set the pre-gain and bass, before adjusting the bass response via the I/II/III switch. Then, the treble can be tweaked via the Tone Cut switch, while the Output control is used to dial in the perfect volume level. Finally, there’s the Anger pot to shape the distortion. Play around with those switches and controls, and you’ll be left with delicious fuzz.
