The Levante LV-TR4905 Bb is a complete trombone pack that comes including a mouthpiece and a plush-lined soft case. This beginners trombone offers a smooth introduction to a timeless and versatile instrument. While the trombone has the same range and tuning as a trumpet and requires the same blowing technique, on a trombone, the valves are replaced by a slide that’s moved into specific positions to produce different notes. Since the slide of this trombone is slightly shorter than that of a full-sized one, and the body is a little lighter, it can be easily managed by arms that still have a little growing to do.
The Levante LV-TR4905 in Bb
This trombone has been tuned in a standard Bb and the inner slide has been chrome-plated, while the outer slide is made from brass. The bell has a diameter of 122mm and the bell tube is 11.66mm, and to release the build up of condensation after playing, a water valve is fitted to the end of the slide. Also, since this is a complete beginners pack, Levante have included a 7C mouthpiece and a plush-lined soft case, giving young students everything they need to get started.
