The Mapex Black Panther Nucleus snare has an 8.1mm thick, 8-ply maple and walnut shell with a 14″ diameter and 5.5″ depth. The warmth that this snare is able to serve is backed up by solid definition and brutal power – a sound that’s able to adapt to pretty much any playing style. Ready for the all-round drummer, the Nucleus comes finished with SONIClear bearing edges, off-set lugs, Sonic Saver hoops, and a cylinder-drive snare strainer. All of the hardware has been chrome-plated and the shell has been coated in a piano black.
