Mapex Black Panther snares give you precisely what you’d expect from their namesake. The fierce attack of the Black Panther Solidus delivers an insane ’crack’ thanks to its fat, 11mm thick maple shell. Mounted with chrome-plated hardware, finished in a sunburst lacquer, and like most Black Panther snares, the Solidus comes with SONIClear bearing edges and Sonic Saver hoops. The upper edge is rounded by 45° while the lower edge is at 35°. Those familiar in-line lugs have also been fitted – all ten of them, while a proud Remo Coated Ambassador batter head and a Clear resonance head come pre-installed to complete the brutal whole.
