This 18-inch Meinl Classics Custom Dark Heavy china is a pretty special cymbal – and it shows. For this china has a black coating from which the grooves have been cut out again. This gives a dark sound to the B10 bronze alloy, attenuating the overtones just right. The rather large folded edge gives the ragged edge you look for in a china. Combined with the short sustain, it makes this cymbal perfect for loud and fast accents.
