A familiar image to many: the flamenco dancer or dancer holding the castanet in his or her hands. Only, as a percussionist you don’t sign up to perform these supple dance moves, of course. You often prefer to sit at the back of the stage, safely behind your drum kit, or in this case: your cajon. Should you still want to add the typical castagnet sound to your arsenal, this Meinl Cajon Ring comes in handy! The castagnet is made of ”Black Siam Oak” oak and sits comfortably on your finger while playing. Every time you hit your cajon, the unmistakable sound of the castagnet will resonate!
