The Jackson X Series Concert CBNXT DX IV is a multi-faceted bass that’s been designed with a single aim in mind: delivering a rock-solid foundation for metal music and other styles that demand solid, punchy bass. The 34″ scale-length of the bass spans a poplar body with a neck-through construction, where the maple neck comes fully reinforced with graphite and offers optimal sustain. The laurel fretboard, meanwhile, has a 12″ to 16″ compound radius for enhanced playability, as well as 24 jumbo frets ensuring an ever-comfortable playing feel.
Active Electronics for Flexible Tone
This 4-string beast gets fed by a Jackson J-style bridge pickup and a Jackson-made P-style neck pickup – both of which are linked to active 3-band EQ circuit that lets you dial in the right amounts of rattle, punch, attack, grunt and cut. For masses of sustain, there’s a Jackson® Bass Bacher IV String-Through-Body Hardtail bridge, and Jackson have finished the Concert CBXNT DX IV with sleek white binding around the body, an iconic pointed headstock, and classic pearloid sharkfin inlays.
