This drum kit is part of Pearl’s refreshed Export Series, which is still one of the most popular series in the world thanks to the brilliant value for money the kits offer. Crafted using Pearl’s own Superior Shell Technology and outfitted with upgraded hardware, this Export drum kit offers beginners and more advanced players alike impressive sound and satisfying looks.
The Pearl EXX705NBR/C737 Export Purple Nebula: Sound First
Pearl faithfully maintains its ’sound first’ philosophy and with that in mind, the new lugs were designed to be more compact to ensure minimal shell contact and superb resonance. Meanwhile, the Opti-Loc tom mounting system adds stability and only further enhances the resonant qualities of this Export Series kit. In terms of configuration, the Pearl EXX705NBR/C737 Purple Nebula includes a 20″ bass drum, 10″ and 12″ toms, a 14″ floor tom and a 14″ x 5.5″ snare – all of which feature 6-ply shells made of Asian mahogany and poplar to guarantee that typically rich sound that Pearl’s shells are known to shape.
Hardware Included
Beginners will be happy to know that this Purple Nebula-wrapped kit comes including a 3-piece Sabian SBR cymbal pack as well as an HWP-830 Series hardware pack. That means that next to the 5-piece drum kit, you’re getting a BC-830 adjustable cymbal boom stand, a C-830 cymbal stand, the H-830 hi-hat stand, an S-830 snare drum stand and TH-701 tom holders. To finish, and so you can pull fat sound out of the included kick drum, Pearl include a P-90 Demonator bass drum pedal.
