Moog’s Grandmother is a semi-modular analogue synthesizer with a built-in arpeggiator, sequencer and spring reverb tank. This unit goes back to Moog’s modular roots and is ripe for experimentation. In fact, you might find the journey to finding the perfect sound just as enjoyable as actually finding it! The Grandmother even has a reconfigurable front panel giving you limitless possibilities, yet it’s also suitable for beginners because no patching is required before you can play.
Grandmother of a Huge Family
Moog has taken inspiration from the iconic modular synths that Bob Moog designed during the 1960s, 70s and 80s. The oscillators are based on the Minimoog and the mixer on the Moog CP3. Those who already own other equipment will be pleased to know that the Grandmother is compatible with gear like the Mother-32 and the DFAM (Drummer From Another Mother) as well as other modular Eurorack systems.
For Musicians of All Levels
The Grandmother has an audio input that allows you to use the analogue filter, spring reverb and other circuits with external sound sources. That means you can easily add vintage sounds and ambience to instruments like a guitars or drums or even your voice! The Moog Grandmother has MIDI connectors on board too for seamless integration into your existing setup in the studio or on the stage.
