With its relatively low pitch and ’extra dry’ looks, this Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Trash Crash is a must-have effects cymbal for the drummer who loves fast accents with a characterful sound. As we have come to expect from the cymbals in the Meinl Byzance series, this trash crash is fully hand-hammered and made of B20 bronze alloy. The underside of the cymbal has a traditional finish, while the top has a ’rough’ finish.

The trash crash features different sized holes, giving it a fairly short sustain. Add to that the rough finish and you are left with an effect crash with a super short sustain, which is perfect for music styles like jazz, R&B, funk, soul or maybe certain electronic genres. And besides that, of course, this trash crash looks pretty cool.
