Converts a mono XLR mic signal to a balanced 3.5mm mini stereo signal, allowing the audio to be fed—without distortion—into both the left and right channels of your camera or similar device. The cable also blocks power supply from the connected device (such as a camera), which would otherwise interfere with microphones that are powered by their own internal battery.
