The professionally clean design of the Gon Bops Mariano djembe is completed by a minimalistic, matte black finished tension hoop that not only provides accurate tuning, but can be comfortably held against the body while playing. The skin is also of exacting quality, since a Remo Black Suede head has been fitted and finished with the Gon Bops logo. This skin helps shape the rich low-end and adds solid, cutting slaps, while the durian hardwood used to make the body rounds off the full depth of the tone, while (since it’s lightweight) providing the perfect travelling buddy.
