In the form of the Banshee GT FR Series, the almighty Schecter launch a number of supreme, modern electric guitars equipped with a mahogany body and an ebony fretboard to guarantee the optimum balance between sonic punch and clarity. The set-neck construction provides full access to the highest of the 24 X-Jumbo frets, while the 3-piece maple neck itself has a slim-and-snug U-profile and features reversed Roman numerals instead of standard position marker dots, the reinforced stability of carbon rods, and a reliable truss rod that can be accessed and tweaked at the ’spoke wheel’ near the neck pickup.
Active Electronics and Hot Rod Floyd Rose Special Bridge
The Banshee GT FR has been strapped with active EMG pickups. More specifically, you’re getting an EMG 81 at the bridge and a EMG 60 in the neck position, which combine with a 3-way toggle switch and a tone and volume pot so you can dial in a wide variety of sounds. In addition, Schecter have decked out this ST model with an exclusive Hot Rod Floyd Rose Special Bridge so you can sling subtle vibratos or drop divebombs for days without throwing the axe out of tune. Meanwhile, the premium black hardware adds the deluxe-yet-bad-ass finishing touch.
