If your go-to cardioid microphone can’t counter the crosstalk, it’s time for the Lauten Audio Synergy LS-308. This unique condenser microphone lets you make squeaky-clean recordings in extreme conditions such as at a Formula 1 race. To be able to pull this off, Lauten have equipped the LS-308 with two capsules to create a so-called second-order cardioid pickup pattern. Needless to say, this premium microphone sounds brilliantly harmonic and is great for capturing drums and wind instruments. Using the high-pass and low-pass filters, the sound can be carefully prepared before you even start recording to save yourself a little time during the mixing phase, and it’s probably worth mentioning the Lauten LS-308 comes complete with a shock mount, pop filter and case.
