A great addition to the Meinl Byzance Vintage Pure line-up: an 18-inch trash crash! Like the other cymbals in the Vintage Pure series, this effect crash features a ’rough’ finish. This combined with the different sized holes in the crash gives you a short sustain. Ideal crash to use for accents or maybe even as part of a stack!

Apart from the characteristics that define its dry character, the low pitch is another feature that should not go unmentioned. So as striking as its looks are, its sound is actually modest. In the studio, too, this crash is a sound that can be applied well: for some situations, the virtual absence of a ’wash’ is very welcome. Suitable for musical styles such as jazz, fusion, pop, funk.
