El Cajon Percusion is a Dutch cajon builder. The ECP400DCP model is specially made for drummers. The cajon is divided into two sound boxes. Each sound box has its own sound hole, which is useful if you would like to amplify the cajon. The lower sound box is logically responsible for the bass sounds – basically the bass drum. The upper sound box is smaller and takes care of the snare sounds – the snare drum.

Normally, you would sit on a cajon. This is not the intention with the Drum Cajon. It is best to sit on a drum stool and play the cajon as you would play on a drum kit. That’s why this set is completed with a Tama drum stool, a set of cajon brushes and a cajon pedal from Meinl.
