The djembe is handmade from a single solid block of mahogany and features a precisely hand-selected goatskin drumhead, resulting in optimal action between bowl and skin. A centuries-old Malian weaving technique has been used to tightly stretch the skin around the bowl. Durable PP nylon strings 4 millimetres thick ensure consistent tension on the skin and a traditional appearance.
