The Ruby Tubes KT88STR-2 sets you up with a pair of KT88-style power amplifier tubes designed to inject valve-amplifiers with that Californian rock-sound from the ’80s and ’90s. The sound of this matched duet set definitely compares to the 6550 and 6L6 tubes but provides an extra dose of headroom.
