The 1.2mm thick, hammered brass shell of this 14″ x 6.5″ Mapex Black Panther Persuader snare shapes an especially solid, deep sound with a nice, healthy punch. The shell hardware is the same as the hardware you’d find fitted to the Black Panthers that came before it, and here, it’s been chrome plated while the shell itself has been treated with a chic antique nickel look. The 45° SONIClear edges couple with the Sonic Saver hoops, in-line lugs, and a cylinder-drive snare strainer, to assure you of ultra-reliable performance. The included Remo Ambassador Coated batter head and Clear resonance head help as well.
