You can see and hear Meinl’s craftsmanship in the Foundry Reserve series. The manual application of additional hammer patterns creates a complex, dark sound with many undertones. On this 16-inch hihat, grooves are applied in both the upper and lower cymbal. This gives the hihat a bright, dry stick sound. The cymbals are made of a B20 bronze alloy and have a traditional finish. The hihat is all-round, but lends itself particularly well to jazz, fusion, funk, rnb and studio work.
