Sennheiser’s ew 300 G4-BASE SKM-S handheld set comes without a microphone capsule, giving vocalists the option to pick out a compatible capsule that’s also compatible with the sound of their voice. Compatible capsules include the MMD935 and MMD945 dynamic capsules as well as the MMK965 condenser capsule which has a switchable pickup pattern. This ew 300 G4 system operates on the 558 – 626 MHz frequency range and has an 88MHz bandwidth, meaning it’s suitable for large-scale setups. There’s a network port fitted on the back of the receiver so you can easily manage the frequencies of multiple systems using the WSM software.
