Whether you’ve just started playing or already have more than a few years experience, you’ll know that some of the parts of your alto saxophone will need some tender loving care to keep your instrument in top playing condition. The mouthpiece alone is fairly sensitive – even if you’ve swapped out the one that came with your saxophone as standard. To help keep any alto sax healthy, D’Addario Woodwinds have carefully compiled the Smart Pak – setting up any alto saxophonist with every maintenance accessory they’ll need.
The D’Addario Woodwinds Rico Smart Pak
Just in case you’ve yet to upgrade, this pack includes a good quality mouthpiece complete with protective cap, and since you can’t do much without a reed, a pack of two have been thrown in as well as a reed guard to keep them fresh. A spare ligature has also been packed in for securing a reed to the mouthpiece, alongside a purpose-designed brush for drying and cleaning the interior of the mouthpiece and a stick of cork grease. Every included accessory has been developed by D’Addario Woodwinds and Rico – one of the leading names in woodwind accessories.
